At Dior Couture John Galliano eschewed a catwalkshow and instead opted for a presentation. Such intimacy was echoed in the pieces themselves as glimpses and slivers of underwear remained visible as if to suggest that the sirens modelling had been caught in a decadent state of undress. Garter belts, girdles, slips, peplums were either visible through sheer panels or worn as outwear and the nude tones of the undergarments either took centre stage under and amidst muted tones or were contrasted beautifully against vivid oranges, greens and flushes of pink.
