PARIS FASHION WEEK S/S2010 – CHLOE
In her fourth season proper at Chloe, Hannah MacGibbon continued to refine her boyish, nonchalant aesthetic. This meant relaxed tailoring in muted tones of white, camel and beige, shirts buttoned to the top, and either tucked in to floor length skirts, or long as shirtdresses and belted at the waist. The outdoorsy aesthetic hinted at in last season's campaign, abounded in camel leather dungarees, asymmetric ponchoes and muted yellow macs.
If these didn't ring with summer, then the final three dresses, all sheer scalloping, spaghetti straps, and pleated, grecian layering certainly did. Covetable accessories in the flat sandals sometimes paired with chunky socks, cross body belts and patent orange crocodile leather handbags, suggested that four seasons in, Hannah has reconciled her own aesthetic with Chloe's reputation for subtly IT pieces.
